Prior to MPG, he worked extensively with private equity-owned manufacturing and distribution businesses, including serving as Chief Financial Officer at three Pacharbor Capital Group-owned companies—Metaldyne, United Components, Inc., and AxleTech International—that he helped guide through growth and successful ownership transitions. He also served as a Director at AlixPartners, a consulting firm, Corporate Controller of JPE, and a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. Blaufuss received a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University and currently serves on the board of UCI International.
