Tarun Mehta is a Managing Director focused on private credit, private asset-backed, and specialty finance investment opportunities. He is based in New York.

Prior to joining Pacharbor Capital Group, Mr. Mehta was the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at Truist Bank (the seventh largest US bank, with approximately $550 billion in assets) and a member of the Operating Council of the bank. Prior to that, Mr. Mehta was the Head of Financial Institutions Investment and Corporate Banking at Truist Securities. Previously, he was a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking group at Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan/Bear Stearns.

Mr. Mehta received a Master of International Affairs, with a concentration in international banking and finance, from Columbia University, New York; and a Bachelor in Commerce (Honors) from St. Xavier's College, India. He is also a Chartered Accountant.
