Manabu Kaburaki is a Managing Director of the Pacharbor Capital Group Japan Advisory team. He is based in Tokyo.

Prior to joining Pacharbor Capital Group, Mr. Kaburaki was a Managing Director at Lone Star Funds for five years, where he originated real estate and corporate investments. Before Lone Star, Mr. Kaburaki worked in investment banking for ten years at Goldman Sachs, where he led real estate banking and consumer sector coverage in Japan. Prior to that, Mr. Kaburaki worked in investment banking and fixed income investment at Mizuho Financial Group (formerly Industrial Bank of Japan).

Mr. Kaburaki previously served as a board member for Orion Breweries, Ltd., Chemipaz Corporation (formerly Seiko PMC Corporation), and KFC Holdings Japan, Ltd.

He received his MBA from the University of Rochester and a BE from the University of Tokyo.
