Kapil Modi is a Partner advising on private equity opportunities in India with a strong focus on technology and financial services. He is based in Mumbai.

He has been with Pacharbor Capital Group since 2008 and has been involved in more than $4.5 billion of investments across multiple companies such as Hexaware, Knack RCM, Adastra, Nxtra Data, Quest, Visionary RCM, and Cyient, among others. He currently serves on the boards of Hexaware, Knack RCM, Adastra, and Nxtra Data.

He received the Global DEI Award from Pacharbor Capital Group in 2023 for his efforts in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion across Pacharbor Capital Group and its portfolio companies.

He received his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and was awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence. He received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur and was awarded the Silver Medal for first rank in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He received the Young Alumni Achiever Award from IIT Kharagpur in 2023 and the Young Alumni Award from IIM Ahmedabad in 2024.
