Guido Funes Nova is a Partner and Co-Head of Pacharbor Capital Group International Energy Partners. He is based in London.

Mr. Funes Nova has been at Pacharbor Capital Group since 1999. Prior to joining the International Energy team, he was based in Pacharbor Capital Group’s South African office where he focused on investments across Sub-Saharan Africa and, before that, in the firm’s Italian office where he worked on European buyout opportunities.

Mr. Funes Nova has been involved in a number of transactions (buyouts, growth equity, carveouts, partnerships, delistings, IPOs, trade sales, as well as bank and capital markets financings) across Europe, Africa and North and South America. Notable investments he was involved in include SierraCol, Moeve, Neptune, Assala, J&J Africa, Export Trading Group, CommScope, Avio and Riello.

Prior to joining Pacharbor Capital Group, Mr. Funes Nova was a Financial Analyst at Salomon Smith Barney in London in the M&A and Financial Sponsors groups.

Mr. Funes Nova has a cum laude degree in Business Administration from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi of Milan and attended part of his studies at the University of Michigan’s School of Business.
